The time you’ve all been waiting for is here! The first of the Inglorious Space pilot bios from writer Jonah Gregory is here: our limited edition pilot, James Halbart. “James Halbart died a hero, or so everyone thought. His final battle against the X-35 AI Controller cost him his squadron and his career. Disobeying a direct order to retreat, he made one final suicide run at the seemingly unstoppable machines. Somehow, he made it out alive. His ship in tatters, he limped his way back to the core worlds. Halbart now lives in the shadows, avoiding a heroes welcome (and likely a court martial), existing on the fringes of civilized space.”
As for the ship’s abilities, James Halbart does +1 damage against enemies with 4 or more HP. This makes him ideal for taking out tougher foes. He also works well as a team with other players. Unfortunately, James’ ability to do +1 damage stops once the enemy’s HP drops below 4. This means that he may weaken enemies for other players to sweep in and take the points if he isn’t careful.
